The adventures of a new apartment continued....

Well, along with the adventures of almost freezing to death in the winter due to only having baseboard heaters and poor (or lack of) insulation this summer is promiseing to be the exact opposite. I love the sun and the heat but am NOT used to having my place of living be 88 degrees at 5 am! That is right! You read right! 88 degrees at 5 am! Even with two fans running and the windows wide open (blinds shut when the sun is hitting them) it has gotten hotter in this place that it did outside! It is fine until the sun peaks around the corner of the apartment into my window abot 4 pm and doesn't go away until the sun sets. This happens to be the hottest part of the day and I have no front door that leads outside that I can get some cross breeze!
On another note. My sister Holly will be getting married in less than 2 weeks. This should be quite an adventure for her.
My little kitty that I got in May in now 3 times the size he was when I got him making him a whole 15 weeks old. Last vet visit he was almost 4 pounds. My how my little baby has grown.
On another note. I have this dear friend that I am so very proud of. I think that she has found her soul mate and I hope to high heaven that she will marry this boy. She is so very happy. Happier than I have seen her in a while and she gushes about him all the time. I find this rather sweet and cannot wait to hear the latest cute thing that he has said to her!
My little nephew turned 2 this year. My nieces are as adorable as they come and my surrogate niece turned 2 too!
I had a great birthday that lasted for a few days. Dinner with family, out with friends, then home, then friends coming over, fun at work then fun at Pike Place and the piers with more friends! Went to the zoo with another friend. I forgot how much fun the zoo actually is and I got to feed a giraffe!
I hope that this summer keeps being as iteresting as it is starting!
